Access and family
ARC aims to be accessible and welcoming to everyone, and we are committed to making your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.
ARC offers relaxed performances of selected shows for children with autism and additional needs, in association with Daisy Chain.
All public areas in ARC have disabled and wheelchair access with adapted toilets on every floor. Our staff are happy to help with the use of the lift and to provide any other assistance required.
Please advise the Box Office of your requirements when booking your tickets. There are designated areas for wheelchair users in each of the venues, and seats for accompanying guests can be reserved alongside, provided advance notice is given.
If you wish to take your Guide/Hearing dog into a performance, please let us know when booking your ticket. We can arrange for an adjacent seat to be kept free.
Assisted hearing facilities
An induction loop system is available in The Point, Theatre and Cinema, as well as at the Box Office counter. A portable system can be set up in the Studio or Meeting Room, so please inform us in advance if you are attending an event and would like this to be available. Headsets can be picked up from the Box Office free of charge. Please return to a member of Front of House staff after the performance. Audio description is available on selected films in our cinema.
We understand that some customers may need the assistance of another person to help them visit ARC, and therefore we offer a free ticket to carers accompanying customers. To qualify for free tickets for your carer, you must meet one or more of the following criteria:
• Be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance
• Be a registered blind person
To register please contact ARC’s Box Office with proof of either of the above via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to:
