Luca is a writer and performer based in Newcastle and an Associate Artist of ARC Stockton.
She believes in making art accessible and theatre that is non-exclusive in form and content. Luca has nationally toured her solo show Learning How To Die, directed by Iain Bloomfield and script advise from Chris Thorpe. She is currently working with Alex Swift and Seiriol Davies on a new children’s show; is associate dramaturg on Adam Pownall’s GBS project; with Unlimited Theatre as an engagement practitioner; and performing with Action Transport Theatre and Unity Theatre’s production of Little Red and The Big Bad Wolf.
Luca has written for classical pianist Yoshie Kawamura, making On The Edge of Piano Poetry for Books on Tyne Festival at The Lit & Phil. Luca started making theatre through North14 professional development scheme at Northern Stage with Camisado Club, associate company of Northern Stage, and has since trained in movement and gesture in Italy with IUGTE.
