Jason Donovan and his Amazing Midlife Crisis
Due to the loss of his speaking voice, Jason Donovan has been forced to reschedule the dates for his planned autumn 2017 tour.
This means that his show at Yarm School - Princess Alexandra Auditorium, originally scheduled for Friday 17 November, has now been rescheduled to Saturday 12 May next year.
All tickets for the original date of Friday 17 November remain valid for the rescheduled date of Sat 12 May, and existing ticket holders who wish to attend the new date need take no further action.
However, refunds are available for those unable to attend the rescheduled date, and please note that refunds must be obtained before 4pm on Friday 29 September. Refunds can be obtained by calling ARC's Box Office on 01642 525199.
Jason has issued the following apology to his fans: "It is with huge regret that on medical advice due to reasons associated with my speaking voice, I have been forced to postpone my forthcoming Midlife Crisis tour until Spring 2018.
Those that know me will know that this was not easy decision, nor a decision taken lightly - for the past ten years I've done hundreds of shows and have only ever cancelled a handful of dates. As you can imagine , when your speaking voice is strained, it’s difficult to embark on a 35 date tour that primarily revolves around me telling stories about my career and my life! I want to be on top form so as I can enjoy the experience and most importantly that you as an audience can share these memories without a sense that I'm compromising my performance. Apologies once again, and I look forward to seeing you all next spring!"
Jason Donovan is delighted to announce that he will be hitting the road once again, only this time, it is a tour with a twist - he is headed to new locations across the country and these intimate gigs will be a unique opportunity to see him like you’ve never seen him before!
At aged 49 ½ and with a wealth of tantalising tales under his belt, this autobiographical show will take Jason’s looming 50th birthday as its starting point and will zigzag back and forth through his life.
Hear some new stories (and possibly one or two you’ve heard before) plus some of the songs you know and love for a night like no other!
Please note this event will take place at Yarm School - Princess Alexandra Auditorium
