Arts Award Supporter
ARC is proud to be an Arts Award Supporter organisation. This means that we run activities that young people, schools and groups can use towards their Arts Award. This includes:
• Workshops and events for young people
• Access to ARC performances that they can review
• Opportunities to find out more about theatre companies, projects and cultural opportunities in their area
• A chance to plan events (for example Fun Palaces) and develop leadership skills
• Find out about careers in the arts
We offer a range of arts activities that can contribute to a young person getting an Arts Award at any level.
Discover, Inspire and Take part – we offer activities in a range of art forms, tours of the building, workshops specifically for young people and opportunities to extend your skills or learn new things.
Review – we offer opportunities for young people to attend plays, exhibitions, films, dance and music events. ARC YP, our FREE membership scheme for young people offers discounts and access to FREE workshops and events.
You can sign up for ARC YP if you are aged 11-21 here.
Share - take part in workshops where you share what you have learnt, organise a showing of your work in our exhibition space, help to lead a workshop or work in a team to plan an event for other young people.
We welcome participation in our projects from young people, and there are some work experience and volunteering opportunities, including working on events and helping with marketing.
You can find ARC on the Arts Award Centre map here.
