Dynamic Pricing
ARC’s policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually, the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show the current ticket price.
ARC’s theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at ARC, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
All money collected will help ARC pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash on the door or by card at the Box Office.

Screenings of this film are relaxed screenings designed with autistic people in mind, but everyone is welcome.
Poppy and Branch have officially started a relationship. As the two grow closer, Poppy discovers that Branch was once a part of the boyband phenomenon, BroZone, with his four older brothers. Film Club is a nurturing and creative environment for you to make memories together. We are respectful that our young audiences engage and express themselves in activities in different ways, therefore, Film Club is a welcoming space for you and your family with films screened on a relaxed basis and suitable for all ages.

Relaxed screenings for autistic people
Relaxed screenings for autistic people are open to everyone.
This relaxed screening has been developed with people autistic people in mind but may also be suitable for people with other access requirements. The adjustments in place for this screening are:
- There will be no ads or trailers
- The auditorium lighting will be left on at a low level
- The sound will be turned down a bit
- There is a chill-out space available if you need to take a break
- You are able to make noise or movement during the screening if you need to
- There will be friendly staff or volunteers on hand to help with anything you might need
A free companion ticket is also available for anyone who requires someone such as a carer to attend the screening with them as part of their access requirements. These can be booked by contacting the Box Office.

Seat size
Seats in the Cinema are 45cm (172/3“) wide and 46cm (18“) deep, are 40cm (152/3“) from the floor, and have 12cm (42/3“) between seats.
Armrests
Seats in the Cinema have armrests that do not fold away, and cannot be completely removed.
Legroom
Seats in the cinema have 30cm (112/3”) of legroom in front of seats, with additional legroom on row A and seats B1-B4 and B11-B14.

Threat and horror
A spooky and imposing building in the form of a monstrous clown’s face initially frightens characters, before being quickly undercut by a comic and reassuring revelation. Characters are tied up and briefly fear doom, while another who is trapped in a glass prison is threatened with being flushed down a toilet. There are exciting chase scenes with moments of slapstick as characters fall and crash or bounce along surfaces. These scenes are balanced with playful humour and generally have reassuring outcomes.
Language
There is very mild bad language (‘God’, ‘hell’).
Sex
There are comic, undetailed but suggestive references to how trolls are made. A troll comically asks her partner if it would be ‘weird if we made out’ when faced with a perilous situation; they then snuggle together.
Rude humour
A character says she is worried she will ‘barf’ and pee her pants through nerves in a moment of rude humour. There are comic references to underwear and to babies pooping. Several trolls are suffering what they describe as ‘pink eye’ in humorous scenes.
