Catch 22: Tez Ilyas and Rich Wilson plus MC Dave Twentyman

The last Friday of the month usually means one thing for local comedy fans – Catch 22 Comedy Club! Expect a mix of familiar telly faces and the best comics from up and down the land.

Dave Twentyman, who is said to have a penchant for endearing even the toughest of crowds, has been enlisted as MC for this month’s Catch 22.

“Brilliant.” – John Bishop

Sharp-suited Tez Ilyas has wowed fans and critics alike and he was nominated for Chortle’s Best Breakthrough Act award just last month. As well as making a number of television appearances (with some alongside top comics such as Nish Kumar), Tez’s debut Edinburgh Show TEZ Talks has been transformed into a series on Radio 4 following its success.

“Intelligent and playful” – Chortle

Rich Wilson began as a barman in a comedy club, but after a few of the comedians suggested he give it a go himself, he’s ended up on the main stage. Rich Wilson’s fan club includes Frank Skinner and Sarah Millican, and he has performed alongside top comedians such as Lee Mack.

“Effortlessly funny, smart and filthy. Recommended.” – The Leicester Mercury

Please note: Line-ups can be subject to change. Not for the easily offended.
