Meet Author Bill Jones

Christmas 1944. All over Britain, POW camps are filling up with defeated German soldiers. The most dangerous are sent to Camp 21 in the Highlands – ‘black’ prisoners – SS diehards who’ve sworn death before surrender. As the snow swirls, the prisoners turn on themselves, with terrifying results…..

After thirty years in broadcasting, Bill Jones turned to a career in writing. His first two  biographies, The Ghost Runner and Alone, were shortlisted for the William Hill Prize and won ‘best writer’ category in the 2012 British Sports Book Awards. Black Camp 21, Bill's first novel, was inspired by actual events.
