This exhibition will display the photography created by a group of young people in care over the summer as part of the More Stuff Like This Please! project.

For 6 weeks over the summer holidays a group of young people from Stockton-on-Tees learned about photography with professional photographer Ian Paine. They learnt about the history of photography, how to use DSLR cameras, took photographs of valuable items, Stockton Town Centre, and Saltburn, made Hockney-inspired collages, and learned how to edit photos at Teesside University. This exhibition is the culmination of their work across those 6 weeks.

These sessions ran as a part of More Stuff Like This Please! – ARC, Stockton Borough Council, and Blue Cabin’s 2 year programme with care experienced children and young people which aims to engage young people living in/from Stockton-on-Tees with the arts.
