Silver Shapers is a gentle and enjoyable exercise class focusing on safe ways to tone and stretch all muscle groups with emphasis on balance, coordination and posture to make every day activities safer and less stressful.
Tutor Leslie Smith has been teaching with the Sport Development Active Health Team, GP Referral Programme and here at ARC since 2004. She is an institution here, and is excited to continue to train her existing class members and to welcome all new participants this term.
Silver Shapers is for anyone over 50 who is looking to improve their fitness, or just get themselves a bit more active while meeting new people. The low impact exercise will help with balance training that will help make everyday activities easier and safer.
No experience is necessary for this class.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move easily in, and supportive training shoes.
