Creative Factory bring Harry Potter to ARC

Hunt for the Horcruxes, presented by Creative Factory, will feature a screening of the final Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows part 2, in eerie surrounding crammed full of bizarre characters and magical happenings. ARC’s largest space, The Point will play host to the screening, where viewers will be encouraged to bring along bean bags and floor cushions for additional seating.

But the film is only part of the extravaganza, which will also feature competitions to challenge your Harry Potter knowledge, stalls serving treats from Honeydukes and The Three Broomsticks as well as delights from the Hogwarts Express trolley and the chance to surround yourself in the emotional brilliance of Harry Potter.

Wizards, Witches and Muggles are invited to wear their favourite Harry Potter themed costume, be it a Deatheater, Hedwig or Harry himself, and enjoy an epic evening to remember!

ARC received funding and support from North Music Trust and Bridge North East to work with young people in Stockton to develop new creative events that engage other young people.  The group has worked hand in hand with ARC’s Marketing team, Operations team and Creative Learning team to bring Hunt for the Horcruxes to life and have shared their perspectives and ideas about promotion and youth activity with ARC.

Led by performance maker and facilitator Ree Collins, Creative Factory is an exciting creative arts group for ages 12 – 16 where professional artists support the group to develop their artistic skills. Creative Factory try their hand at theatre and film making, stage design and direction, script writing and improvisation. The group make decisions about what they want to produce, from project to project.
