Mark Viner studied at the Purcell School and the Royal College of Music. Since winning First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Athens in 2012, he has given performances at St. James’ Smiths Square, Wigmore Hall and at St. James’ Church Piccadilly. Apart from a busy schedule of teaching and performing, he is a published writer and was elected Chairman of the Alkan Society in the UK. His debut recording by Sigismund Thalberg on the Piano Classics label has garnered great critical acclaim.
