Anyone who saw Mike McGrother’s ‘Of Rogues and Of Honest Men’ knows that his staged performances are packed with Teesside storytelling, emotion, humour and energy. That show introduced us to the historically based wonder-filled Pa McCoys – the middle house of Haverton Hill circa the beginning of the 20th century.

Tonight we head back to the pub as Pa McCoy and table top singer McGrother introduce more stories of Teesside’s community. Inspired by Mike’s regular Joe’s Speakeasy reminiscence events, take a seat, have a drink and prepare to meet 11 (extra)ordinary Teesside men and women as their life stories are told through songs, visual projection and a narrative featuring the ‘Voice of Big Brother’ Marcus Bentley.

With full live band, Infant Hercules Choir and more than a few surprises along the way, join us to ‘Raise a Glass’ and prepare to be engrossed in this extraordinary musical experience guaranteed to produce tears of laughter and emotion in equal measure.
