Each month, Rough Cut Revolutions gives Tees Valley artists the stage to share their newest, boldest, and most daring work, straight from the rehearsal room to a live, supportive audience.

Be the first to experience brand-new performances and creative experiments from some of the region’s most exciting talent.

Share your thoughts, spark conversations, and connect with others at these vibrant, one-of-a-kind scratch nights celebrating raw creativity in action.

Rough Cut Revolutions is part of ARC’s Production Hub, in partnership with Tees Valley Combined Authority – helping to make Tees Valley an engine room of creative production.

Application is now open for July’s call out for Rough Cut Revolutions!

It’s time for our 3rd call out for the year (cos we love them!)

We are on the look out for 2 longer pieces of live performance that speak to the themes of ‘internationalism’ or ‘looking outwards’ in honour of Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF).

Genres we’ll consider are music, dance, theatre/performance, spoken word and stand-up, and work that is 30-40 mins in-length.

We will provide each performance with £250 to support you to put on your work at ARC.

You must be 18+, local to the Tees Valley (Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland) and have work ready to be tested in front of a live audience.

Deadline for applications: Tues 2nd June, 5pm

Announcement of performers: Mon 15th June.
