FallenFromGrace is the creative outlet for North-East Artist Tom Walton, creating exciting, visual, honest and engaging contemporary performance. FallenFromGrace collaborate across different artforms to create multidisciplinary work, which coaxes its audience into experiencing something different, something they might not expect.
Tom’s first involvement with ARC was working with Rabbit Damage’s show Wherever I Lay My Hat as part of the Bridging the Gap scheme. Tom scratched his show When We Embraced at ARC back in 2012 and in between then and now collaborated with Switchback Productions, another ARC Associate Company, on their show Lucy and the Hawk.
When We Embraced previewed at ARC in June 2013 prior to its run at Edinburgh Fringe.
I think that my short History with ARC demonstrates not only what they mean to me, but what they mean to the region as a whole; creating platforms and opportunities for Artists of all kinds to share, collaborate and develop work at any stage in the most supportive atmosphere anyone could hope for. From top to bottom, Arc has an ethos of generosity and positivity, which makes it a real treasure chest for people like me.
