How to book your tickets
We advise you to book your tickets for all shows in advance to avoid disappointment. The Box Office team can help with sales, reservations and enquiries. A voicemail service is available if our lines are busy and we endeavour to promptly return your call.

Our online booking system means that you can book for multiple shows quickly and easily, 24 hours a day. To book for a show, simply visit the listing under 'What's On', and click the 'Book Online' link.
Book over the phone by calling our box office during opening hours on 01642 525199.
You can come into ARC and buy tickets at our box office in person. The box office is situated on the left of the entrance foyer.
We now offer e-tickets. When you choose the e-ticket option we'll email your tickets to you, which you can then show on your smartphone. As well as cutting down on cues at the entrance to our building and Box Office, this also helps us maintain social distancing and reduces our impact on the environment as we will need to print less tickets.
Pay What You Decide
All theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis.
The scheme means customers can attend shows without paying for a ticket beforehand, although tickets can still be reserved prior to a performance. After the show, you have the opportunity to make a donation of what you decide you want to or can afford to pay, based on your overall enjoyment of the performance. Find out more information about this policy.
When you book tickets, you will be asked to provide contact details, including your address, telephone number and email address. Whilst this is primarily used by ARC for marketing purposes, it also enables us to get in touch with you should there be any changes to the event you have booked for.
We charge a small booking fee of £0.50 per ticket booked online, over the phone or in person. (Excluding regular classes and activities).
How to pay
As part of our measures to stay COVID secure, we don't accept cash. We accept the following credit and debit cards: Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro and Electron. There is no charge for card payments.
If you would like your tickets posted to you we will add £1 postal charge to the total cost. Alternatively you can pick up your tickets free of charge from our box office during opening hours.
Tickets may be reserved in advance and can be held without payment for up to three days, or 24 hours before a show (whichever is sooner) by which time payment must be made to confirm the booking. We reserve the right to release unpaid reservations without notice if payment is not made within the time period indicated above.
Dynamic pricing policy
ARC's policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show 'Today's price'.
Concession tickets, subject to availability, are available to over 60s who are fully retired, in receipt of Jobseekers allowance or incapacity benefits and full time students (NUS or College/Uni ID card).
Please contact the Box Office to make arrangements for group bookings.
|Evening screenings||Full price: £8 Over 60s: £6 Students/ Income support/ ARC YP: £4|
|Matinees (2pm Wed, Thu & Sat)||Full price: £6 Concessions: £4|
|Meerkat Movies (Wed)||Buy one get one free with a valid Meerkat Movies code|
|Peformances on Screen||£14 (Concessions: £12)|
All tickets are subject to a 50p booking fee per ticket.
It is our policy not to process a booking which subsquently leaves a single seat on allocated events. This is due to the difficulty in selling a single seat for a performance.
If you have any acess requirements for your visit, please contact the Box Office to discuss them. Click here for access details.
Refunds & Returning tickets
Ticket refunds can only be offered for cancelled events.
Tickets for a sold-out performance may be returned to ARC for re-sale once all other tickets have been sold, and at the discretion of the Box Office. Should we successfully re-sell tickets we will credit your account with the full cost of the tickets minus a handling charge of £1 per ticket (booking fees are non-refundable). We reserve the right not to accept tickets for re-sale.
Only tickets purchased from our Box Office or our appointed agents are valid for admission. Re-selling your ticket for profit or commercial gain is not permitted.
ARC occasionally sells tickets through agencies such as Ticketmaster, See Tickets or Skiddle. We accept no responsibility for tickets or services purchased via an agency or third party. Agency tickets may be subject to different terms and conditions.
