Pay What You Decide
We have introduced a Pay What You Decide pricing policy for all spring 2015 dance, drama and spoken word performances.
The scheme works by enabling customers to attend shows without paying for a ticket beforehand, but tickets can be reserved prior to a performance. Then on exiting the show, you have the opportunity to make a donation of what you decide you want to, or can afford to pay, based on your overall enjoyment of the performance. Find out more information about this policy.
When you book tickets, you will be asked to provide contact details, including your address, telephone number and email address. Whilst this is primarily used by ARC for marketing purposes, it also enables us to get in touch with you should there be any changes to the event you have booked for.
How to pay
We accept the following credit and debit cards: Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro and Electron. A 50p charge per transaction is applied to all card payments, to cover the cost charged to ARC by the card processing company. There is no charge for payment by cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Stockton Arts Centre Ltd.
If you would like your tickets posted to you we will add £1 postal charge to the total cost. Alternatively you can pick up your tickets free of charge from our box office during opening hours.
Tickets may be reserved in advance and can be held without payment for up to three days, or 24 hours before a show (whichever is sooner) by which time payment must be made to confirm the booking. We reserve the right to release unpaid reservations without notice if payment is not made within the time period indicated above.
Dynamic pricing policy
ARC's policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show 'Today's price'.
Concession tickets, subject to availability, are available to over 60s who are fully retired, in receipt of Jobseekers allowance or incapacity benefits and full time students (NUS or College/Uni ID card).
Discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more are available on some events. Please contact the Box Office to make arrangements for group bookings.
|Standard screenings||F: £6.50 C: £5.50|
|Student Night (Tuesdays)||Student tickets: £4|
|Silver Screen (Wednesdays, 2pm)||Over 60s tickets: £3.50|
|Meerkat Movies (Tues & Wed)||Buy One Get One Free|
It is our policy not to process a booking which subsquently leaves a single seat on allocated events. This is due to the difficulty in selling a single seat for a performance.
If you have any special requirements for your visit, please contact the Box Office to discuss them. Click here for access details.
Tickets for all shows are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged for another show or for a credit voucher valid for 180 days. If you would like to exchange your tickets you must return your original tickets to the Box Office at least 24 hours before the performance. There is an administration fee of £1 per ticket.
Any credit not used after 180 days have elapsed will go towards ARC’s charitable activities.This exchange policy does not apply for groups of 10 or more.
Tickets returned to the Box Office for a sold-out performance may be offered for sale once all other tickets have been sold, and at the discretion of the Box Office. Should we successfully re-sell tickets we will credit your account with the full cost of the tickets minus a handling charge of £1 per ticket. We reserve the right not to accept tickets for re-sale.
Only tickets purchased from our Box Office or our appointed agents are valid for admission. Re-selling your ticket for profit or commercial gain is not permitted.
ARC occasionally sells tickets through agencies such as Ticketmaster or See Tickets. We accept no responsibility for tickets or services purchased via an agency or third party. Agency tickets may be subject to different terms and conditions.
