ARC works with Stockton on Tees Borough Council, one of our core funders, across a number of areas.
As the Council’s strategic arts development partner, we deliver creative activities for people from across the Borough. We contribute to the Council’s priorities around places and open spaces, keeping the community safe, young people, health, helping communities prosper, the provision of care and great experiences.
We work directly with Children’s and Adult Services as well as the Arts, Culture and Leisure team.

Tees Valley Combined Authority & Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)
TVCA leads economic regeneration for the Tees Valley. Culture is one of six strategic priorities in the region’s Strategic Economic Plan. ARC works with the TVCA on a number of projects and initiatives, including Tees Valley New Creatives, to help deliver cultural development across the Tees Valley.
ARC’s Chief Executive & Artistic Director, Annabel Turpin, is the LEP’s Deputy Chair and Theme Lead for Creative Place. In 2020/21 she chaired the independent Tees Valley Creative & Visitor Economy Recovery Task Force, established by the Tees Valley Mayor, and continues to co-chair the Creative Place Advisory Group.
