ARC’s policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually, the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show the current ticket price.
ARC’s theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at ARC, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
All money collected will help ARC pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash on the door or by card at the Box Office.

Join us for a fantastic live show featuring popular North East artists, Kamalbir Singh and Priti Kaur performing ghazals and popular Bollywood songs. The evening will offer a tribute to famous Indian ghazal singer, Jagjit Singh, and his wife Chitra Singh.
Kamalbir Singh is a well-known name in the field of Indian classical music and ghazals singing. Having toured internationally, Singh has performed at many famous venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Ronnie Scott’s, Glastonbury festival and most recently, in the Royal Festival Hall with pop legend, Paul Weller.
Singh was the first artist in Indian music to perform in the West End in the musical ‘The Far Pavillians’ and has composed for many stage musicals including ‘A Great Handful of Hena’ and ‘Mind the Gap’. Singh has also appeared on TV as a solo and accompanying artist on BBC, Channel 4 and ITV’s Good Morning Britain to name a few.
Priti Kaur is a versatile, vibrant Indian vocalist resident in the UK. Kaur made her Bollywood feature with her song ‘Promises’ from the movie ‘Unforgettable in 2012’. Highlights of her stage career include singing with the prestigious City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and at the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
Having a degree in Hindustani classical vocal music with distinction from the renowned Khairagarh University, Priti is a winner of SA RE GA MA Punjabi singing competition. Most recently, Kaur has performed at the prestigious Wembley Stadium in 2025 for the Football Association ‘Faith and Football series’. In India, Priti has been an All India Radio Ghazal artist and has appeared in several TV channels including B4UMusic, Zee TV and Kanshi TV.
Kaur and Singh will be accompanied by Gurprit Matharu on tabla, Jai Singh on keyboard, Kansia Pritchard on flute and clarinet, and Prashant Joshi on acoustic guitar.

In The Point, seats in rows A-GG are 36cm (14“) wide and 39cm (151/3“) deep. They are 41cm from the floor (16″) wide and 44.5cm (171/2”) deep. The seats are 44cm (171/3”) from the floor, and have a 10cm (4”) gap between seats.
Seats in rows H and W are stools, are 36cm (14“) wide and 40cm (152/3“) deep. They are 76cm (30“) from the floor, and have a 25cm (93/4”) gap between seats. The stools also feature a footrest 42cm (161/2”) from the floor.
Seats in rows K-V and Box 1are 42cm (161/2 “) wide and 45cm (172/3“) deep, 47 cm (181/2“) from the floor, and have 6cm (21/3“) gap between seats.
Seats in Box 2 are 36cm (14“) wide and 39cm (151/3“) deep, 41 cm (16“) from the floor, and have 10cm (4“) gap between seats. These are loose removable chairs.
Armrests
Seats in The Point do not have armrests.
Legroom
Seat in rows A-GG have 20cm (73/4“) of legroom in front of each seat, with restricted legroom in rows A-D.
Seats in rows H and W are stools and have 35cm (14“) of legroom.
Seats in rows K-V have 20cm (73/4“) of legroom in front of each seat, with restricted legroom in the aisle seats. Seats in row S also have a vertical backrest.
Seats in Box 2 have 50cm (192/3”) of legroom in front of the seats.
