‘Everyday, once a day, give yourself a present’

Join pianist & composer Simeon Walker and a talented ensemble of musicians, as they present a new interpretation of music from the seminal 90s TV show Twin Peaks. Featuring pieces from Series 1 & 2, and the Fire Walk With Me film, the ambient-inspired instrumental music from the soundtrack is interspersed with a touch of jazz, blues, rock & roll, alongside the iconic songs of Julee Cruise. Join us for a captivating evening in the Red Room.

Staff Pick: ‘I was absolutely mesmerised by his quietly beautiful set.’

‘I first saw the fabulous Simeon Walker without even knowing I was going to! I’d booked to attend a Sofar Sounds gig in Middlesbrough back in December 2017 – for those of that you haven’t been to a Sofar Sounds gig yet (do check them out!), you book a ticket but only find out the venue and the line-up just before the gig happens. It’s a great way to discover new music. Simeon was on the bill at the MIMA café along with Elaine Palmer and Nel Unlit. Anyway, to cut a long story (not very) short, I was absolutely mesmerised by his quietly beautiful set, and have kept up with Simeon’s work since.

Following that Sofar Sounds show, I’ve also been lucky enough to see Simeon play at the wonderful Howard Assembly Room (with its incredible acoustics!), and one of my all-time favourite music venues, the Brudenell Social Club, both in Leeds. And now I can’t wait to see him do something a bit different, playing the music of Twin Peaks with an amazing ensemble of musicians at ARC! It’s going to be a really special night, and I’d love you to join me.’ – Louise Wilkin, Deputy Marketing Manager.
