Are you wanting to kick off 2025 with a kick start to your creative career?

With support from Tees Valley Combined Authority, we are pleased to be able to offer two 8-week paid placements in our busy producing and programming teams this Spring. This paid opportunity is perfect for someone based in the Tees Valley who is just starting their career in the creative industries and is keen to gain an insight and experience of producing and programming live events.

Key tasks will include: supporting our Producer to deliver a range of productions and artist support; acting as a liaison between artists and other ARC staff; supporting preparation and acting as a runner for rehearsals and Research and development workshops; meeting and greeting artists as they come to the building. You will get the chance to shadow other members of ARC staff to gain a greater understanding of how a busy creative building operates.

No previous producing experience is necessary but we do want people who are passionate about the arts and are keen to explore producing further as a career. Experience in basic administration and an ability with Microsoft Outlook and other software will be very helpful. Other skills include having an ability to communicate well with people and being able to prioritise tasks.

Dates of placement: Mon 3 Feb – Fri 28 Mar 2025
Hours per week: Up to 30 (there is some flexibility on this)
