Annual dance event PULSE is returning to ARC on Saturday 29 March for a 3rd year to provide a platform for the dancing talents of 11-19 year olds across the Tees Valley.
The PULSE annual dance events celebrate the best in youth dance across the region and provide dance groups with the opportunity to perform in a professional space, be inspired, see each other’s work and acknowledge the talent of young creators and performers. They also offer the opportunity, for groups to compete to represent the North East at the National U.Dance celebration festival in Nottingham in June 2014.
Now in its third year, ARC will be welcoming the 14 groups as they demonstrate their dance flair and skills on Saturday 29 March, and inviting audience members to witness the spectrum of diverse dance styles by the young talented dancers who will be taking to the stage.
ARC is working with Dance City to manage a Dance Hub for the Tees Valley which supports dance development across the region and works with practitioners, young dancers, schools and other organisations to make dance activity happen. PULSE is part of the Dance Hub programme, which is always actively looking for dance groups who would like to get involved. If you are a dance group in the Tees Valley area and are interested in getting involved the Dance Hub, please contact Rachael Ankers, Creative Learning Manager at [email protected] or by calling 01642 525 183.
