Encounter Productions are inviting the residents of Stockton, young and old, to come together, have fun, and make a very special community show about love. And they will begin by offering six free workshops for those of all ages and abilities to get involved with this Saturday.
No previous performing experience is necessary. So whether you are 9 or 90, you and your friends, family and loved ones are invited to come to ARC and explore why we love, whom we love and the nature of communication in our most important relationships and present Tell Someone Special, a show stopping and heartfelt performance to be presented on ARC’s Theatre stage.
The project is part of Tell Someone Special, Encounter’s on going and multi platform project about love. It asks how often we communicate the most important messages we have to give to others and provides creative ways to do so.
Workshops will include a writing workshop to generate stories about love, a dance workshop suitable for all abilities, a singing workshop where, through song you will create music for the show and a theatre workshop for all the family to take part in together.
ARC and Encounter invite you to be part of this performance project to create a theatrical, moving show for Stockton and those people we love.
The workshops run at ARC from 22 March. For more information or to book onto the free workshops, please click here.
Tickets to the performance of Tell Someone Special on Saturday 12 April are F: £5 and can be booked here.
