Dynamic Pricing
ARC’s policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually, the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show the current ticket price.
ARC’s theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at ARC, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
All money collected will help ARC pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash on the door or by card at the Box Office.

Join us for the Closing Ceremony of the Tees Valley International Film Festival, an Evening with Brenda Blethyn. During this headline festival event, Brenda will take us on a journey through her illustrious career from her legendary character in long running North East based drama Vera to starring in Hollywood productions alongside the likes of Robert Redford and Brad Pitt that led to her two Oscar nominations.
Interviewed by Bill Fellows from Coronation Street, Brenda will share stories of her career highs and lows, the many inspirational people she’s worked with over the years and the challenges the creative industry presents to budding actors.
The night also includes the presentation of awards to the winning filmmakers that’ve had their films screened over the course of the festival and will feature the final of the TVIFF Monologue Competition. The evening will end with a performance of ‘I Get Knocked Down’ the iconic 1997 Chumbawamba song, performed by their former singer, Dunstan Bruce.
So, if you’re an undiscovered creative who’s seeking inspiration and advice or if you just want a good-natured night out that will close the industry leading, ground-breaking celebration of local talent and creativity that the Tees Valley International Film Festival has become, then this event is an absolute must see.

Access Information - The Point
Seat size
In The Point, seats in rows A-GG are 36cm (14“) wide and 39cm (151/3“) deep. They are 41cm from the floor (16″) wide and 44.5cm (171/2”) deep. The seats are 44cm (171/3”) from the floor, and have a 10cm (4”) gap between seats.
Seats in rows H and W are stools, are 36cm (14“) wide and 40cm (152/3“) deep. They are 76cm (30“) from the floor, and have a 25cm (93/4”) gap between seats. The stools also feature a footrest 42cm (161/2”) from the floor.
Seats in rows K-V and Box 1are 42cm (161/2 “) wide and 45cm (172/3“) deep, 47 cm (181/2“) from the floor, and have 6cm (21/3“) gap between seats.
Seats in Box 2 are 36cm (14“) wide and 39cm (151/3“) deep, 41 cm (16“) from the floor, and have 10cm (4“) gap between seats. These are loose removable chairs.
Armrests
Seats in The Point do not have armrests.
Legroom
Seat in rows A-GG have 20cm (73/4“) of legroom in front of each seat, with restricted legroom in rows A-D.
Seats in rows H and W are stools and have 35cm (14“) of legroom.
Seats in rows K-V have 20cm (73/4“) of legroom in front of each seat, with restricted legroom in the aisle seats. Seats in row S also have a vertical backrest.
Seats in Box 2 have 50cm (192/3”) of legroom in front of the seats.
