Set in the romantic capital of the world (Paris n’est pas?) Amélie follows a young woman who dashes and darts from one acquaintance or stranger to the next, armed and ready to fix their dilemmas with her good deeds and quirky solutions.
After hearing of the death of Princess Diana, Amélie decides that life is fleeting and she must do all she can to enrich the lives of those around her. She begins by returning childhood treasure to a middle-aged man, befriending a frail neighbour, and bringing gnome-related intrigue to the life of her lonely father.
The perfect film for Valentine’s celebration, Amélie is a good excuse to stop dashing around and take an hour or so out, to enjoy a French modern-day classic on the big screen with a loved one, friend or relative.
The night’s film comes with a two or three course option for a limited number of bookers. Celebrate the feast of St. Valentine with a loved one, friend or family member by indulging in a sweet French pastry of a film with a two or three course meal option for a limited number of bookers.
