Dynamic Pricing
ARC’s policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually, the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show the current ticket price.
ARC’s theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at ARC, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
All money collected will help ARC pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash on the door or by card at the Box Office.

As our MC, Greg will delight with conjuring and magic tricks, puppetry, story-telling and even mind-reading!
The most unique singer-songwriter whose performances have entranced audiences throughout the steampunk world and the wider shores of those who appreciate good music. He has headlined the UK’s largest steampunk festivals at Lincoln and Whitby, and we are delighted he will be doing the same for our inaugural Stockton on Tees Steampunk Festival. In over forty years of involvement with live music, I have never seen anyone who more rapidly and more completely engages with and interacts with his audience – with digressions and diversions a Captain song can take on all sorts of new twists – no two performances are ever the same, and always entrancing.
Long established as the leading Steam-Goth band in France, Victor Sierra will be bringing their distinctive sounds to Stockton on Tees from Paris – although they recently headlined a steampunk convention in the United States, and are hugely in demand we have managed to persuade them to bring their airship The Hydrogen Queen to Teesside. Commander Bob, with the Legendary Unconverted Princess and new crew member Pilot Officer X will be making a very first appearance in the North East – don’t miss the chance to see them!
Glamorous tribute act to the legendary Mistress of The Dark, sassy, funny, and sexy, Elvira is a fantastic addition to any cabaret show.
Pansy is a many-talented burlesque and circus performer who personifies glamour and graceful movement.
Lady Violet will be performing her own songs, which are best described as “for those of you with spotless minds and perfectly trimmed Lady Gardens “. You can expect a lady-like cut glass accent, powerful operatic vocals, and more than enough double entendres!
Described by no less a person than Professor Elemental as having a voice of “pure sunshine” Madam Misfit has been showing the chap-hop universe that it doesn’t have to be just a boys club. Her musical genre is a concoction of Electroswing (vintage remix), dub step, funk and a hip hop comic blend known as Chaphop. Her comical rap lyrics have gradually become her identity within the music industry, steampunk and alternative festivals across the UK.
Playing ethereal folk with a rock essence, Teesside’s very own Parissa will be bringing us her haunting vocal harmonies and violin melodies.
Presented as part of Stockton Steampunk Festival in collaboration with David Smith Steampunk Events.
