We wanted to let you know that following our successful relaunch last year, sadly our cinema is currently experiencing some technical issues. Because of these issues, we are unable to show new film releases for now.
However, there’s still plenty happening on our screen…
This Valentine’s Day we are showing the classic True Romance, but with a twist! The incredibly funny Scott Turnbull alongside partner in crime Andy Berriman will be bringing back their much loved Daft Cult Cinema Club; an interactive cinema experience this Valentine’s Day.
All of our upcoming National Theatre Live screenings are going ahead as planned, including The Audience, All My Sons, The Playboy of the Western World and Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
Our Teesside Dementia Link Services films are still running too, with Xanadu, Calamity Jane and Blue Hawaii coming up soon.
And we’re keeping our Saturday morning family cinema alive with some extra crafty fun for families, inspired by much-loved classics. We’ve also got some one-off special events in the diary celebrating key film anniversaries, more on those soon.
The team are working hard to find alternative solutions to either fix or replace the equipment and we will keep you posted as things progress.
Please keep an eye on our socials for updates, and do continue to support ARC and the cinema when you can.
