ARC Cinema welcomes War Horse hero

It began life as a book by acclaimed children’s writer Michael Morpurgo, before Stephen Spielberg took it to the big screen where millions fell in love with Joey. Now, War Horse is coming to ARC’s screen as London’s National Theatre broadcast Nick Staffords awe-inspiring stage show to cinema’s up and down the country in February 2014.

Since its first performance at the National Theatre in 2007, War Horse has become an international smash hit, taking audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France.

Filled with stirring music and songs, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama is a show of phenomenal inventiveness, with life-sized horse puppets created by . At its heart are astonishing life-size puppets by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.
