Give your Halloween costume a second life at ARC

Have your little ones outgrown their Halloween costumes? Before you throw them out, give them a second life!

We are collecting pre-loved Halloween costumes at ARC ahead of our Halloween Family Fest on Sat 31 Oct, helping local families find an outfit for their little monsters without the extra cost.

Whether it’s a witch’s hat, a superhero cape, a spooky skeleton or a full fancy-dress outfit, your donation could help another child get dressed up and enjoy Halloween. Costumes don not need to sit in a cupboard once they’ve been outgrown, they can bring plenty more Halloween magic to another family!

Simply drop off your pre-loved Halloween costumes at the ARC’s Box Office by Fri 30 Oct. Our Box Office is open between 10am and 4pm, Tue to Sat. There will be a stall, subject to availability of Halloween costumes, on Sat 31 Oct.  Your donation could help another local family enjoy Halloween and give an outgrown outfit a new lease of life.

To celebrate Halloween at ARC, our family fest is back for a full day of spooktacular fun, with lots of free activities for families to enjoy together.

Join us from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Sat 31 Oct for Halloween crafts, storytelling, face painting and a scavenger hunt.

You can make spindly spiders, ghoulish ghosts and mischievous masks, or settle down for some spooky stories with Good Witch Glinda at Our Little Library. There’ll also be books available to buy from our friends at Drake the Bookshop.

Fancy adding a little theatre magic to your Halloween? Join us at 2pm for The Witch Who Couldn’t Sleep, a sing-along musical adventure for the whole family.

Combining live action, music and animation, this interactive show invites children to join in, shout out and help shape the story as it unfolds. Tickets cost £12, with a family ticket for four available for £45. For more information, click here.

We can’t wait to welcome you!
