Kathryn Beaumont is an actress-for-hire and fledgling theatre maker.

Having trained at University of Cambridge, Live Academy, Newcastle and the Meisner Center, Los Angeles she
has returned to the North East to put down personal and artistic roots.

Kathryn is currently ‘in transition’ from passive performer to active artist as she embarks on her first foray into
independent theatre making.

I Told You This Would Happen

Girl meets boy. Boy meets… Girls attempts to rewrite script. Kathryn’s new show takes a look behind the scenes
of the ‘boy meets girl’ story: less Rom Com, more Rom Con. A story about relationships, life scripts and the
manosphere. If love is blind, I’m about to take your blindfold off…

The script written by and performed on stage solely by Kathryn, explores a long distance relationship gone wrong
as Kathryn’s character ‘girl’ battles deceit and misogyny whilst trying to figure out the modern day ‘lad’ persona
her boyfriend appears to develop.

I Told You This Would Happen is written and performed by Kathryn Beaumont
