Pitching & Positioning

Unlimited and Cultural Shift are working together to bring a unique Pitching & Positioning development event to ARC on Thursday 1st February.

Ten disabled artists have been invited to spend a day developing skills in how to talk about and position their work with the media, the general public and programmers in mind.

Artists will work through a number of skill areas and will then be invited to make a presentation of their work to the audience of Conviva – a disability arts symposium focusing on the work of Cultural Shift the following day on Friday 2nd February. The presentations are aimed to give a flavour of the diversity of work being created by disabled people, the range of art-forms and the breadth of innovation.

The audience will be a mix of disability arts professionals and arts professionals, including programmers and policy makers from the wider arts sector.

The invited participants are a mix of emerging and established artists that have been selected through their involvement with either Unlimited or Cultural Shift.
