Full of clowning and all-round slapstick fun, STATIk on Saturday is a family show like no other!
STATIk has recieved rave reviews from children, parents and school groups across the country, and now the show from Action Transport Theatre comes to ARC.
was written and produced after Liverpool based Action Transport Theatre decided to attempt to get a class full of primary school children to answer some of life’s big questions; ‘why do we have to work?’ ‘what is the meaning of life?’ and ‘where are the secret sweets kept?’.
Mixing playful acting, silly scenarios and child friendly humour suitable for children and adults alike, the story follows a character called Mikey on his first day at work, but not all goes to plan…
Mikey’s first day at work means wearing his brand new uniform and joining the signal-fixers who are preparing radio transmitters and tuning them in, but when a strange signal is mysteriously picked up, it brings about the hilarious destruction of the factory regime.
The show is suitable for children aged 5+ and is told through a unique visual style with plenty of fun and maybe, even some secret sweets!
