Theatre
Seat size
In our Theatre the seats are 38cm (15″) wide and 44.5cm (17½”) deep. The seats are 44cm (171/3”) from the floor, and have an 8cm (3”) gap between seats.
Armrests
Seats have armrests on either side of the seat which cannot be removed completely. Seats on rows A, C and D have armrests which can be folded away and slot between the seat backs. On all other rows armrests are fixed and cannot be folded or removed.
Legroom
There is 30cm (112/3“) of legroom in front of each seat, with additional legroom in rows D and L, and in Box 1 and Box 2.
T-Coil Loop System
The Theatre has a t-coil loop system covering rows A-K the best positions are seats 1-4 and 13-16 on each row, with the weakest signal in the centre of the row. To use the loop system you will need turn your hearing aid to the T- position.
The Point
Seat size
In The Point, seats in rows A-GG are 36cm (14“) wide and 39cm (151/3“) deep. They are 41cm from the floor (16″) wide and 44.5cm (171/2”) deep. The seats are 44cm (171/3”) from the floor, and have a 10cm (4”) gap between seats.
Seats in rows H and W are stools, are 36cm (14“) wide and 40cm (152/3“) deep. They are 76cm (30“) from the floor, and have a 25cm (93/4”) gap between seats. The stools also feature a footrest 42cm (161/2”) from the floor.
Seats in rows K-V and Box 1are 42cm (161/2 “) wide and 45cm (172/3“) deep, 47 cm (181/2“) from the floor, and have 6cm (21/3“) gap between seats.
Seats in Box 2 are 36cm (14“) wide and 39cm (151/3“) deep, 41 cm (16“) from the floor, and have 10cm (4“) gap between seats. These are loose removable chairs.
Armrests
Seats in The Point do not have armrests.
Legroom
Seat in rows A-GG have 20cm (73/4“) of legroom in front of each seat, with restricted legroom in rows A-D.
Seats in rows H and W are stools and have 35cm (14“) of legroom.
Seats in rows K-V have 20cm (73/4“) of legroom in front of each seat, with restricted legroom in the aisle seats. Seats in row S also have a vertical backrest.
Seats in Box 2 have 50cm (192/3”) of legroom in front of the seats.
T-Coil & Infra-Red Loop System
The Point has a t-coil loop system covering the stalls. The signal is strongest at the end of the row, with the weakest signal in the centre of the row. To use the loop system you will need turn your hearing aid to the T-position. The T-coil system will not be available for some events due to electrical interference from sound equipment. The Point is also equipped with an infra-red loop that can be used without the need to worry about electrical interference from other devices. To use the infra-red loop system you will need to wear a necklace-style device that creates a localised t-loop which is available from our Box Office. For best results with the infra-red system we would recommend not sitting in rows A-C.
Studio
Seat size
In our Studio the seats in row A are 37cm (141/2″) wide and 44cm (171/3”) deep, are 44cm (171/3”) from the floor, and have a 12cm (43/4”) gap between seats. Seats in row A are also removable as single seats.
Seats in rows B-H are 43cm (17“) wide and 46cm (18“) deep, are 44cm (171/3 “) from the floor, and have 8cm (3“) between seats.
Seats in rows J-K are 43 cm (17“) wide and 44cm (171/3“) deep, are 44cm (171/3“) from the floor, and have 8cm (3”) between seats.
Armrests
Seats in the Studio do not have armrests.
Legroom
Seats in row A have 50cm (192/3“) of legroom in front of seats.
Seats in rows B-H have 30cm (112/3“) of legroom in front of seats.
Seats in rows J-K have 24cm (91/2“) of legroom in front of seats.
T-Coil Loop System
The Studio Theatre has a t-coil loop system covering all rows. To use the loop system you will need to turn your hearing aid to the T- position.
Cinema
Seat size
Seats in the Cinema are 45cm (172/3“) wide and 46cm (18“) deep, are 40cm (152/3“) from the floor, and have 12cm (42/3“) between seats.
Armrests
Seats in the Cinema have armrests that do not fold away, and cannot be completely removed.
Legroom
Seats in the cinema have 30cm (112/3”) of legroom in front of seats, with additional legroom on row A and seats B1-B4 and B11-B14.
T-Coil & Infra-Red Loop System
The Cinema has a t-coil loop system covering all rows. To use the t-coil loop system you will need turn your hearing aid to the T- position. The Cinema is also equipped with an infra-red loop system, that allows the user to select between the film’s standard audio track, and the track including audio description. To use the infra-red loop system you will need to wear a specialist headset that is available from our Box Office.
