Before headliners Neville Staple Band and The Ordinary Boys,  are Whitley Bay four piece Lisbon. Lisbon have been compared to the likes of Little Comets and Foals, a rather magical combination, unforgettable guitar riffs, captivating choruses and songs full of energy.

Merseyside five-piece The Sundowners will be bringing up tempo psych folk to the line-up and Mod inspired band The Spitfires who have gigged with The Specials and The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, have been handpicked by the mod father himself Paul Weller to support him on his latest tour – this recommendation is just one reason not to miss this band live at Stockton Calling!

Representing Teesside and dubbing themselves as ‘NewPop’, Hartlepool band Shoot the Poet focus on seductive riffs and strong harmonies and are currently spreading their sounds across the country through a string of gigs and have received rave reviews from BBC Radio 6 Music.

Jamie Farrell has slowly but surely raised his profile on the North East music scene in the past three years. After starting off busking in Newcastle city centre, he is now recognized as one of the region’s big music break-throughs.

Opening up the stage with his very own brand of incredible musicianship and brilliantly observed quirky acoustic based songs is a Teesside ever present Andy Jones, having shared stages with artists from The Human League to Duke Special, he now opens up Stockton Calling 2015.
