This brand-new film club is dedicated to showcasing powerful and thought-provoking films from Black filmmakers across the UK and beyond. Expect a night of cinema, culture, and conversation –  where we celebrate diverse voices and bring untold stories to life on the big screen.

Mr. Michelle Augustine is an accomplished award winning filmmaker, creative director, and multimedia expert with a diverse academic background and an extensive portfolio of creative work. He is currently based in England, United Kingdom. His notable film credits include The Unexpected, a thought-provoking drama that explores the challenges of navigating life’s struggles; Imina, a visually striking film that addresses the issue of child marriage while advocating for women’s education in South Africa; Convalescence, a silent short produced in the North East of England that raises awareness of men’s mental health in the UK; and Behind the Badge, a documentary-style interview with a Cleveland Police officer, highlighting the initiatives undertaken to ensure community safety in Middlesbrough Communities in the North-East of England.

After fleeing her homeland to escape the domestic abuse of her fiancé, a young woman seeks a fresh start in a foreign country. There, she crosses paths with a young man carrying scars of his own abusive past. Drawn together by shared pain, they find solace in each other’s company, slowly opening their hearts and discovering the possibility of healing through connection.

Un.Adulterated is a film about the power of choices and redemption or the inevitable moral corruptibility of individuals.

    Armrests

    Seats in the Cinema have armrests that do not fold away, and cannot be completely removed.

    Legroom

    Seats in the cinema have 30cm (112/3”) of legroom in front of seats, with additional legroom on row A and seats B1-B4 and B11-B14.
