This event starts 12pm and finishes at 6pm.

You’re invited to a day of solidarity, celebration, and community.

Join us for Refugee Week Celebration in Stockton, an open and welcoming event for everyone. It’s a chance to come together with people from the many vibrant communities that make our town such a brilliant, diverse, and culturally rich place to live.

We’ll be celebrating the creativity, strength, and contributions of Stockton’s refugee and sanctuary-seeking communities with a free, day-long event full of joy and connection. Expect delicious food, live performances, music, children’s activities, a cultural marketplace, and information stalls.

Refugee Week is a national festival held every year across the UK, and this year’s theme is Community as a Superpower. You can find out more by clicking here.

Stockton’s Refugee Week Celebration has been co-created by a planning group of refugees, people seeking sanctuary, and local organisations who work closely with those communities.

Come and be part of something special.

The Refugee Week Celebration takes place at ARC on Saturday 21 June from 12pm to 6pm. Entrance is free.
