Expectations are like hidden rocks in your path, All they do is trip you up Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.

Leave the door open for the unknown, the door into the dark. That’s where the most important things come from, where you came from, and where you will go- Rebecca Solnit.

An evening of theatre presented by students from The Northern School of Art, who explored expectations and the unknown. These multimedia theatre pieces, created in collaboration between our Acting for Stage & Screen students and our Film, TV, and Theatre Production students, will examine what we know and what we feel we know.

The programme has been designed by working professionals to allow students to develop the skills required for performing on stage and screen. This joint approach gives experience in both mediums and offers the student a distinct advantage in the job market or to explore further the craft of Acting. Students develop core acting skills in voice, characterisation, and physicality which are to be utilised in performances on stage and screen. More information on the course can be found here: Acting for Stage & Screen – Ba (hons) | The Northern School of Art.
