Pay What You Decide Info

The Tees Valley International Film Festival was proud to partner with the BFI film Academy in Teesside to bring you a showcase of the short films they’ve recently produced.

The BFI Film Academy helps train and inspire the next generation of UK filmmakers, supporting people aged 16 to 19 to develop the commercial and cultural knowledge and skills to help make a career in film.

The BFI Film Academy is facilitated in this region by Writers’ Block North East. WBNE have been inspiring and supporting grassroots writing talent on Teesside for over fifteen years and have facilitated the production of over 400 new productions and publications.

The showcase will include an interview and Q&A with the BFI Film Academy and Writers’ Block North East course leaders. If you’re aged 16-19 and are considering giving filmmaking a go, or if you want to see the exceptional standard of work being produced by our future Tees Valley stars, then this screening is not to be missed.
