Unfolding Theatre is at ARC this week working on a brand new, immersive show called Night Classes. The show is about learning to be independent but wondering, aren’t we better off when we ask each other for help?

Audiences will journey through playful, enjoyable learning experiences. They will learn to grow their own, make soup and navigate using the night sky. However, the journey towards self-sufficiency is interrupted. Things break. As we dream of other ways of being, the experience culminates by celebrating what we gain by needing each other.

Two people stand at the end of a table. One is using sign language. A small, seated audience around the table watches on. A large jar, filed with water and half-filled with stones, stands in the middle of a plate. Water from the jar has overflowed onto the plate, and brightly coloured, folded paper boats are floating on the plate.
