Dynamic Pricing
ARC’s policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually, the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show the current ticket price.
ARC’s theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at ARC, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
All money collected will help ARC pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash on the door or by card at the Box Office.

23-year-old Franky is a nurse who lives with her large family in an East London borough. Obsessed with a thirst for revenge and a need to assign guilt for a traumatic event that happened 15 years before, she is unable to build any meaningful relationship until she falls in love with one of her patients – Florence. They escape to the coast where Florence lives with her more open-minded patchwork family. There, Franky finds the emotional shelter to deal with the grudges of the past.

Violence
A man is attacked and repeatedly punched; however, there is limited detail.
Threat and horror
A Molotov cocktail is hurled into a house. However, the Molotov cocktail doesn’t explode and is subsequently picked up by a child before it is thrown from the building.
Language
Infrequent very strong language (‘c**t’) and strong language (‘f**k’) occurs, as well as milder terms (‘prick’, ‘bitch’, ‘bollocks’, ‘bastard’, ‘piss’, ‘shit’, ‘arse’, ‘bloody’, ‘tits’, ‘God’, ‘damn’, ‘hell’).
Sex
Sex scenes include thrusting, implied masturbation and breast and buttock nudity. There are also strong verbal sex references, including to fellatio.
Discrimination
A couple engaged in a same sex kiss are surrounded by one of the couple’s family members who hurl homophobic abuse at the pair. A gay couple on a bus are subjected to homophobic abuse by a mixed group who surround them. A fight breaks out when a woman fights back against the group. Discrimination is clearly disapproved of by the work as a whole
Drugs
In one scene, a couple take ecstasy pills. Characters prepare and smoke marijuana joints, and there are also verbal reference to drug misuse.
Sexual violence and sexual threat
In a scene of sexual assault, a man masturbates over a woman in a scene lacking detail. The woman clearly objects to the man’s behaviour.
Injury detail
In one scene, a person’s hand is cut and bloodied after she clears up broken glass. A person’s life-changing burns are a theme of the film.
Theme
There are scenes in which a person with terminal cancer vomits and is shown ailing before she dies. This is followed by a scene in which people grieve over her corpse. There are references to mental health, including a scene in which a person suffers a manic episode. A character speaks emotionally about a fire in her childhood in which she was badly burned.
Flashing/flickering lights
This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
Alcohol and smoking
A person with a drink problem is drunk in some scenes.
Suicide and self-harm
A person tries to take their own life. There are also verbal suicide references.
