We’re on the look out for 10 people to become the first set of resident musicians at No 60!
Since No 60 launched last summer, we have had a string of fantastic food events, and we’re now on the lookout for some talented individuals to become resident musicians and perform at future events.
Hopefuls will need to attend an audition, and if chosen, they will have the chance to perform at a minimum of four events per year at the venue.
A spokesperson for ARC said: “We want to provide a culturally exciting atmosphere for customers, both for those attending events, and for those who just want to join us for our popular new dining experiences. We are looking for solo musicians or singers as well as duos, who can play instruments acoustically, and we want to uncover talent from a range of musical genres.”
Sets are likely to be in the evening, sometime between 6pm – 11pm, and will involve a minimum playing time of two 40 minute sets.
Musicians will receive £40, plus drinks and a free meal for each session they play.
If you are interested in becoming one of No 60’s resident musicians, then head along to our open audition on Tuesday 19 April, anytime between 6pm and 8pm. You will need to indicate you will be attending the auditions in the first instance by emailing [email protected] by Monday 18 April.
At the audition, you will be asked to perform a few minutes worth of material to a small selection panel and you will need to bring your own instrument and be prepared to play acoustically. Singers, guitarists, cellists, violinists, bass players and keyboard players are all welcome. If you would like further information, please contact the Box Office on 01642 525199.
