You could be attending a play for free, or having a drink on the house at a North East arts venue – but only if your name is Rachel!
The Life and Loves of a Nobody from Third Angel and Sheffield Theatres will tour around the region in May as part of the REACH project and some venues on the tour have really got into the spirit of the theme of the play by offering females with a certain name some freebies.
The play follows young and eager fame-hunter named Rachel as she embarks on a journey of discovery where she learns about hope, fame and love gone wrong.
Some of the venues on the tour are inviting Rachel’s across the North East to head along to the show where they could get; a free ticket, bring a friend for free or even, a free drink.
They can expect to get the special treatment at the following venues;
A free drink at ARC, Stockton Arts Centre; a free drink plus 20% off ticket price at Arts Centre Washington; a group ticket of 4 booked by a Rachel will be half price at Seaton Deleval Arts Centre; buy one get one free at Queen’s Hall, Hexham and ‘bring a Rachel for free’ at The Customs House, South Shields.
Dates, times and prices for performances at all the venues receiving the play around the North East can be found at www.thirdangel.co.uk
