Dynamic Pricing
ARC’s policy is to set ticket prices based on demand, like budget airlines, which means we set a price when the event goes on sale and then sometimes put the price up or down depending on how the show is selling. Usually, the price will increase as we get closer to the event, so it is advantageous to book in advance, although sometimes we will put special offers on and reduce the price. Our website will always show the current ticket price.
ARC’s theatre and dance performances are priced on a Pay What You Decide basis, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at ARC, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
All money collected will help ARC pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash on the door or by card at the Box Office.
General Prices: £17.50 + £0.10 booking fee

Join Teesside’s ever popular Cattle & Cane for a very special Christmas show. Due to COVID-restrictions, this will be a socially distanced event, therefore tickets are extremely limited.
After spending the past couple of years sharing stages with the likes of Tom Odell, Brian Wilson, Stereophonics, The Head & The Heart, Madness and Lewis Capaldi, Cattle & Cane have established themselves as one of the North East’s most cherished live acts.
Sold-out signs are commonplace at their own headline gigs, including huge regional statement dates at Sage Gateshead and Middlesbrough Town Hall, where a crowd of 1,100 witnessed a magical performance alongside the Northern Orchestra.
Led by siblings Helen and Joe Hammill, C&C have appeared at acclaimed international tastemaker events such as Canadian Music Week and Reeperbahn Festival, as well as at some of the UK’s finest boutique and inner-city festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival, Tramlines, Live At Leeds, Liverpool Sound City, Black Deer, Cornbury, Deer Shed, Twisterella, Stockton Calling, Lindisfarne, Long Division and This Is Tomorrow, not to mention the BBC Introducing stage at BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park.
As well as extensive support from BBC Introducing, they’ve picked up radio play from Elton John on Beats 1, Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2, Anneka Rice on BBC Radio 2, OJ Borg on BBC Radio 2, Janice Long ‘Janice Loves’ on BBC Radio 2 & BBC Radio Wales, Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 Music, Frank Skinner on Absolute Radio, Gary Crowley on BBC London, John Kennedy on Radio X and numerous DJs at Amazing Radio.
Thanks to playlists like New Music Friday UK, Your Coffee Break and Feelgood Pop, to name but a few, Cattle & Cane have accumulated over 12 million Spotify streams. On TV, their music has featured on many TV shows including Sunday Brunch, Made In Chelsea, The Only Way Is Essex, Avenida Brasil and MTV’s Catfish.
In 2018, Middlesbrough FC printed the lyrics to Teesside anthem ‘Infant Hercules’ on the club’s home shirts, cementing Cattle & Cane’s place as Teesside’s best loved band.
During a difficult 2020 for all those in the creative industries, Cattle & Cane have selflessly raised thousands of pounds for charities including Shelter, Movember and Great North Air Ambulance via virtual gigs and special cover versions. Alongside that, they’ve been working on new music in the studio (did somebody say a new EP in 2021?) and Joe has also continued to write with other artists, including recent singles for Ward Thomas and Lucy Spraggan.
We are continuing to monitor and adapt to the latest restrictions surrounding COVID-19 and will keep customers informed about any changes to events as the situation develops.
