Bringing the Happy to Stockton

Whilst researchers at the University’s Centre for Information Management want to use the Emotive software to try and pre-empt civil unrest provoked by certain events, Leeds based company Invisible Flock are focusing on one emotion and one emotion only. Happiness.

Taking over a vacant town centre shop in Stockton in October in the lead up to their show, Bring the Happy at ARC on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November, Invisible Flock will be asking locals to give them one of their happy memories, to be added to their 3D Map of Happiness which not only charts the good feeling in Stockton, but across the length and breadth of the country.

Open during typical retail hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Saturday throughout October, the company and their assistants will be ready to receive the fond memories of those visiting the shop, to be retold in all their beautiful and sometimes ridiculous glory in a part wedding part wake style celebration at ARC for Bring The Happy Live.

Brilliantly inventive.
