Get on your bike and head our way!

We have two charming cycling themed shows on the horizon, in association with Stockton Cycling Festival, and don’t forget we’re also hosting the ‘bike park’ on Sunday 26 June!

As part of the festival, which is taking place from 23 – 26 June, head along on Friday 24 June for Ventoux, a show for serious cycling enthusiasts.

The show is inspired by the incredible and controversial race from Lance Armstrong and Marco Pantani, which took place on Mont Ventoux – the most fearsome mountain encountered on the Tour de France. 2Magpies theatre company will restage the race using breath taking video accompaniment and a pair of road bikes, asking the question – how far will we go to succeed?

With little ones in tow, you can head along to watch a fantastic family show about friendships, discovering new cultures, and of course cycling, as JoJo and Billies Tour de France rides into town on Saturday 25 June.
Join JoJo, Billie and Albert as they jump on their (imaginary) bicycles to climb the Alps, dip their toes in the sea in Marseille, visit the cows in the Creuse, peer through the fog in Bretagne and finish in love filled Paris.

With bicycle percussion, bicycle choreography, bicycle acrobatics, bicycle puppetry and the bicycle race of the century. The story is told without words through live music, video, mime which all bring the wonderful story vividly to life.

If you’re heading to Stockton for the last day of the Stockton Cycling Festival on Sunday 26 June, you will be able to park your bike at a safe designated ‘bike park’ in our building.
We will also be serving some lunch specials, including any pizza or pasta and a pint for £6.50, or grab any cake and coffee for £2.95!
