A holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street is just the show to get you into the festive spirit. Single mother, Doris Walker, doesn’t want her six-year-old Susan’s head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbour, Fred Gailey, tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts.

Following on from the success of Christmas shows including Oliver and Peter Pan, Stockton Riverside College’s Musical Theatre students bring to you this festive favourite.

From the writer of the musical, The Music Man!, and based on the hit movie of the same name, Miracle on 34th Street, The Musical, should definitely be a highlight of your Christmas calendar.

Featuring songs such as “It is Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”, this musical promises heart-warming family entertainment. It is brimming with all of the professional direction, magical effects, lively dance numbers and exuberant performances that audiences have come to expect from Stockton Riverside College’s theatre stars of tomorrow.
