After inexplicably failing to get famous in the UK for three years, triple Chortle Award nominees (2011, 2012, 2013) Peacock and Gamble have even more inexplicably become all famous in Japan. Ray and Ed return in triumph, to shout their way through another knockabout hour of electrifying stupidity at ARC on Thursday 3 October.
Having met Ed Gamble during one of his gigs at Durham University in 2005, Ray Peacock asked him to guest on his podcast The Ray Peacock Podcast, which enjoyed success on iTunes, won them a loyal fanbase and led to a sellout run at the Arts Theatre London as The First Podcast to be Performed Live No Matter What Anyone Says.
Not content with winning the internet with that podcast, in 2009 Ray & Ed put Ed’s name in the title, creating the Peacock & Gamble Podcast which was followed by numerous sell out live versions and consistently charted in the iTunes top 10.
In 2011 Ray and Ed started building material for a double act show to perform at that year’s Edinburgh Fringe Peacock & Gamble Emergency Podcast. The show was a hit at the festival and subsequently the duo appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News.
Catch Peacock & Gamble in the exclusivity of ARC’s Studio Theatre before they are snapped up by the bookers of Wembley Stadium!
