Tonight’s MC Ian Smith is a multi-award winning stand up comedian as seen on BBC Three’s Sweat the Small Stuff and heard on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show.

Since starting at a young age, Ian has developed a reputation as an exciting, creative comic. Mixing conversational, energetic storytelling and observations with unique set pieces and an exceptional skill for improvisation

Since first performing stand-up at university, Sarah Keyworth has fast become one of UK comedy’s brightest new talents. Having already been a Funny Women runner-up, 2018 saw Sarah take her debut hour Dark Horse to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A thoughtful and hilarious meditation on gender, girlhood and the challenges of growing up different, the show was a huge critical hit.

After her run, Sarah took Dark Horse on tour around the UK, including a sold-out run at Soho Theatre and then to Australia, where she was invited to perform the show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Her second Edinburgh show Pacific was also a huge hit with audiences and critics alike, selling out its entire run and receiving 4 star reviews. Sarah took the show on tour in 2020 selling out dates around the UK.  Sarah has appeared on Roast Battle (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), performed stand-up on BBC Radio 4 institution The Now Show and been tour support for Stewart Francis, Dane Baptiste, Kerry Godliman, Jan Ravens and Abandoman.

2020 also saw Sarah launch hit new BBC Radio 4 relationships podcast You’ll Do which she hosted with real-life partner Catherine Bohart.

Comedian in the middle Dan Tiernan has already won several titles including The Comedy Stores King Gong and winner of the Beat The Frog Series and was a finalist in this year’s  Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.


Tom ‘The Haircut’ Ward has been seen on ‘Roast Battle’, Rob Delaney’s ‘Stand up Central’ and Sara Pascoe’s ‘Live from the Comedy Store’ (all on Comedy Central) as well as presenting the viral video campaign ‘In My Personal Space’ for Ladbible.

He has done three shows at The Edinburgh Fringe, receiving 5* reviews for each and in 2018 he was Joe Lycett’s official tour support
