Do you have a camera you’d love to use to take videos?

Join Ian for fun introduction to using your DSLR for video, covering basic set up to what extra bits of kit you may need to get good video results. Some knowledge of your camera would be useful, bring your gear with you or use the equipment in the session. The session will cover camera settings, aperture, ISO, shutter speed and how they differ from using the camera to shoot stills.

Take 2 hours and learn how to get the best from your camera and the shooting environment. This ‘one off’ session is designed to get you thinking about how and what to film, along with a look at all the technical aspects required.

Ian Paine has been involved in professional video production for over thirty years, producing hundreds of films; his most recent work can be found on his website featuring SIRF 2018 and Periplum’s performance of The Glass Ceiling:
