Acclaimed singer-songwriter Joe Hammill launches his brand new autonomous project with the release of his debut solo single ‘You Are The One I’ve Waited For’ out now.

Joe’s new music is as much influenced by his favourite musicians as it is by changes in his life; notably becoming a husband, and becoming a parent.

‘I think I was meant to be an artist in my 30s’, he explains. ‘I love being in a band with my sister and I love writing songs for other people, but a lot of what I’ve written over the past couple of years, well, it just feels right to sing it myself’ he adds.

In his native Teesside, Joe is best known as one half of sibling duo Cattle & Cane, but away from the band, he’s achieved widespread success co-writing with the likes of Lucy Spraggan, Ward Thomas and Belgian star Alice On The Roof.

Support comes from 17 year old singer-songwriter Alex Lyons, who has been making waves across Teesside recently with her heartfelt acoustic tracks.
