The Attic – Known as the space inside the roof of a building, yet less recognised as the space that holds precious memories and treasures of the past, collected through life’s journey. It is true that memories are stored in our head and hearts forever, yet sometimes they often fade or bury deep in our mind. Acting as one of life’s saviours can be an item, a song or even a smell that acts like a time machine, transporting us back to a time and place that’s been hidden.

Whether it be old love letters, photo’s of passing loved ones, childhood toys or the star from the Christmas tree; out of sight is out of mind, but somewhere deep inside, we know they still exist.

Since it’s arrival, Star Academy has recreated well known storylines producing performances that have grown in stature, talent, and expectation. 2019 offered a difference whereas the spectacle was achieved by focusing on life itself, titled The Waiting Game. Little did we know, the following year, life became a waiting game. Now free from restriction, Star Academy returns, bigger and better than before, tackling the turmoil of life’s emotions. Dealing with themes of hurt, fairness, happiness and forgiveness; The Attic is a delightful story that takes on a journey to the past.
