Part music, part historical anecdote, 100% community spirit, join Mike ‘Wildcats’ McGrother and his raggle taggle ensemble of performers and artists at The Salutation, Billingham Green as they remind you that there is no place like home. The Pub Opera Company was formed to celebrate communities across Stockton-on-Tees and beyond.

3pm: The Haverton Hillbilly Band Box Skiffle session, singing the songs of England, Ireland, and the good old days (free entry – just turn up on the day)
5pm: Joe’s Speakeasy share your memories of Billingham and Haverton Hill in Joe’s Kitchen! (free entry – just turn up on the day)
7pm: Pa McCoys: A Pub Opera a jam packed evening of songs and stories remembering the characters and spirit of Billingham; from Astor Garriques to Joe Tasker, and Jimmy McGrother to Skiver McIvor. Expect an emotional rollercoaster filled with laughter, tears and memories. Plus a meat raffle courtesy of Blackwells Butchers, with proceeds going to Vision 25! £10 entry – pre-booking essential
